Sports & Physical Education

Vikalp

Vikalp is a dynamic initiative designed to provide students with hands-on learning experiences beyond academics. Held once a fortnight, this dedicated 60-minute session offers expert-led training in diverse skill-based activities. Students can explore their interests in Chess, Cooking, Keyboard, Tabla, Needlework, Dance, Theatre, Woodwork, and various art forms, including Sketching, Glass, and Fabric Painting. Through Vikalp, we encourage creativity, enhance problem-solving skills, and foster a lifelong love for learning.

Kaushal

Kaushal is a unique initiative that provides students with an opportunity to develop specialised skills beyond the classroom. Held once a fortnight, these 60-minute expert-led sessions offer hands-on training in a variety of creative and technical disciplines. Students can explore Baking, Vocal Music, Drums, Knitting & Crochet, Calligraphy, Rubik’s Algorithms, Photography, Pottery/Clay Modelling, Gardening/Organic Farming, and Guitar. Additionally, they are introduced to traditional and contemporary art forms, including Origami, Batik, Bandhani, Kalamkari, and Art & Craft. Kaushal nurtures creativity, enhances problem-solving abilities, and empowers students with lifelong skills.

Sports

Physical fitness is an essential pre-requisite for leading a healthy life. Students exhibit their special talent and show all of us what enthusiasm, gusto and sportsmanship really means.Sports in school help prepare students to face the challenges of life. They enhance physical and mental abilities of students and help them achieve the goals of their life. It also help develop values of mutual trust and cooperation. Students are guided and trained by expert coach in various sports activities like football, basketball, badminton, table tennis, lawn tennis, karate, skating, kid-fit, martial art, yoga, gymnastic, kabbadi, football and athletics.

Houses

Houses are not changed throughout the child’s schooling. This ensures a sense of belonging and provides the child a group to consistently participate from and root for during regular inter-house events held throughout the year.

School Parliament

The Bopal Parliament was established in the Academic Year 2012 to provide a platform for our students to develop leadership abilities and also to promote a sense of ownership and service among the student body. The Parliamentarians are elected through a universal ballot system wherein each member of the Bopal Parivar gets one vote. Students who get the majority of the votes are elected for the posts of Ministers and Presidents.

I.M.U.N.

I.M.U.N. (International Model United Nations) is a transformative initiative that immerses students in the workings of the United Nations. By stepping into the roles of world leaders, students represent different nations, address global challenges, and propose innovative solutions. This experience enhances their critical thinking, diplomacy, and problem-solving skills while deepening their awareness of international affairs.

At Bopal, we uphold the philosophy of Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam—”The World is One Family”—a profound belief rooted in the Vedic tradition and echoed by our late President, Dr. S. Radhakrishnan. Through I.M.U.N., students embrace this global perspective, fostering empathy, unity, and a shared responsibility for a better world.
