Anand Niketan began its inspiring journey in 1996 with the establishment of its first branch — Anand Niketan Shilaj — in Ahmedabad. The idea was born out of a shared vision to create a school where learning would be joyful, meaningful, and rooted in real-life experiences rather than rote memorization and pressure. The aim was to build a nurturing environment that celebrated curiosity, creativity, and collaboration — a place where children could grow into confident, compassionate, and capable individuals who lead their own lives with purpose and understanding.

What began as a single school has today blossomed into a group of 12 schools, each carrying forward the same belief that education must engage the Head, Heart, Hands, and Spirit. Anand Niketan’s approach blends intellectual development with emotional growth and practical life skills, helping students not only excel academically but also live balanced, fulfilling lives.
